The 2026 DSNC Elections are taking place April 13 through April 27, 2026.
All nominated candidates listed below were invited to complete a nomination form and submit additional information that is now being shared through the links below to introduce them to you, the voter. The documents will be linked as they are completed.

Voting will take place electronically via OpaVote, and in person at the Somerville Library West Branch, 40 College Avenue at the hours listed below.
During the DSNC Board of Directors election, we will be electing a president and vice president as well as seven additional board members. All three contests — for president, vice president, and additional members — will be conducted using ranked choice voting. More details can be found here.
If you are already a verified member of the DSNC you may vote via a link that will be emailed to you from "OpaVote," the electronic platform for the election. The link will be emailed to the email address that you used when you joined. Click through that email to fill out and submit your ballot. Emailed ballot links will be sent out April 13 and must be submitted by 5pm on April 27.
If you prefer to vote in person you may do so at the Somerville Library West Branch, 40 College Avenue at the hours listed below.
If you are not yet a verified member, you can become one during the voting period by showing up to the in-person polling hours at the Library, listed below. Voting can then be done in person at the same time at the Library. More membership details can be found here.

Votes will be tallied at the DSNC meeting on the evening of April 27.
These two roles have specific responsibilities beyond those of regular board members:
Leads meetings, prepares agendas, and carries out duties authorized by the DSNC
Fills in for the president when needed, supports leadership functions
